Launch of the ART collection: A collection for creative instincts

Europlac is launching a very creative collection named ART. This new collection offers ten distinctive styles for parquet flooring, veneered floor covering and wood paneling. Europlac's objective is to offer a first class product to as wide an audience as possible, to create exceptional interiors.

Release your creative instincts and marry up these innovative styles with other materials to create a unique atmosphere. Discover new sensations, such as the pure lines of the birch; the colonial feeling of Zebrano or Makassar Ebony, radiating the heat of the savanna. As a contrast to these, Doussie, Jotoba or Iroko distinguish themselves by their luminosity, radiating light even in the darkest situations. In addition to these, there is American Walnut, Amarante, Rosewood, Tiger Wood, Olive Ash as well as Wengue - each with their individual charm.

Another feature of this collection is that it offers a compromise solution between decoration, surroundings and budget. The harmony between the different parquets and wood engineered floors at the heart of the ART collection allows you to:

1. Use parquet in the reception areas of the house such as the living room, dining room, hall or corridor. Parquet gives an undeniable richness to the more 'visited' rooms of the house.

2. Spoil yourself with the luxury of a rare wood in the more personal rooms such as a bedroom or in the office by using a veneered floor covering. This is less expensive than parquet and more respectful of the world's rarer resources.

The Absolu parquets are engineered floorings and available in two thicknesses, 14mm or 11mm. They consist of a top layer of solid wood of 3.2mm and 2.5mm respectively, each mounted on an HDF waterproof support. This thickness makes it ideal for renovation projects and offers a lifespan of 30 years. The wood engineered floor FunFloor has a thickness of 7.8mm, the top layer being 0.6mm of solid wood. This uses five times less solid wood than the parquet flooring and it is in the ART collection that you will find the more exotic woods. Both of the styles use the Uniclic® fitting system.
